I Killed The Prom Queen

I Killed The Prom Queen is an Australian metalcore band from Adelaide, South Australia. Formed in 2000, the band featured prominently on the Australian live music scene and toured the USA, JAPAN and parts of Europe several times, The band split up in April 2007 when guitarist Jona Weinhofen joined American band Bleeding Through but played a farewell tour in mid 2008. In early 2009, Jona Weinhofen declared on myspace that the band is still together.

I Killed The Prom Queen - Music For The Recently Deceased

Music for the Recently Deceased was recorded in September 2005 and featured original vocalist Michael Crafter. This version of the album shows a similar vocal style as the re-recorded version of the album but lyrically the concepts are different. The lyrics of "666", "Your Shirt Would Look Better With a Columbian Neck-tie" and "Like Nails to a Casket" are consistent through both releases. Only nine of the tracks, excluding the instrumental outro, are available.
